Albert Koonce

Wayne Koonce, 92, of Circleville passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014. He was born on August 11, 1922 in Dugger, Indiana to Herbert and Nadine (Fouch) Koonce. Wayne a WWII Marine Corp Veteran was a charter member of First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Keith Koonce and sister; Mary Morgan. Wayne is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (Becknell) Koonce, daughters; Gail K. (Jim) Shank and Linda C. (Neal) Peck, 5 grandchildren; Dr. Kyle (Brooke) Shank, Karrie (Chris) Zunino, Jennifer (Tim) Cox, Sean and Megan Peck, 5 great grandchildren; Allison, Ryan, Logan and Nolan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Barbo officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8. Memorial contributions are suggested to Circleville First Baptist Church.
