Alice J. Prushing, 78, of Circleville, died Dec. 29, 2012 at Pickaway Manor. She was born Feb. 18, 1934 in Pickaway County, the daughter of Fred and Alice (Peters) Seymour. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Marvin and sisters, Dorinda Seymour and Ruth Hawk. Alice was retired from General Electric, member of Eagles, Moose, Amvets and American Legion Auxillary and a former volunteer at Berger Hospital. She is survived by her children; Rick (Julie) Prushing, Debbie (Terry) Leasure, Kathy (Roger) Davis and Sue (Mark) Mace, grandchildren; Marcy and Charlee Prushing, Kymberly (Mark) Dunkle, Kyle (Natalee) Leasure, Kaleigh Leasure (Josh Bower), Amy (Matt) Verock, Lori (Ben) Brisker and Drew Mace, great-grandchildren; Aniston and Braxton Dunkle, Landyn Leasure, Claire and Cade Bower, Jackson and Hunter Verock and Adalyn Brisker, sisters; Margery Ankrom and Betty Andrews, nieces and nephews; Fred and Sherry Foltz, Fred Hawk, Terry Morrison and Nancy Dye, several great nieces and nephews and many special friends at the Moose and Amvets. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday Jan. 3, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Family requests memorial contributions be made to Berger Hospice.
