Ann Pickering

Ann W. Pickering, 89, of Columbia, SC, died November 24, 2010. She was born May 16, 1921 in Delaware County, the daughter of Fred and Ardath (Stout) Weidinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Malcolm C. Pickering; sister, Jean W. Carnahan and sister-in-law, Nancy Weidinger. She is survived by her brother, Jim Weidinger of Yelm, WA; nephews, Tom (Diane) Carnahan of Fairfax, VA, Dave (Barb) Carnahan of Powell and Steve Carnahan of Los Angeles, CA.; cousins, grandnieces, nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday December 1, 2010 at Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ANIMAL PROTECTION LEAGUE, P.O. Box 5354 Columbia, SC 29250 or an animal sanctuary of your choice. Ann asked a special thank you be extended to dear friends Doris and Joe Layton, Brenda Mack and Cindy Butler for their love, care and sincere friendship through the years, as well as other friends in South Carolina and Ohio.
