Anthony Tedesco (Tony), 94, of Circleville, Ohio died peacefully on May 10, 2014 with his family by his side. Tony was born to the late Joseph and Susan Tedesco on November 15, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Zion Bible College as president of his class. He worked most of his life as a union carpenter, both in California and in Erie, Pennsylvania where he retired. Tony enjoyed watching most sports and participated in recreational golfing and baseball. He loved family get-togethers where there was always good food and fun times playing bocce and Uno. Tony also had a great love for the Bible. He read it through several times each year and could quote lengthy passages by memory. He faithfully attended and was an active part of Kingston Mound Bible Church. Tony was a perfectionist and did his work with excellence. His son-in-law Larry said that he could imagine him getting to heaven, looking all around and saying, “Perfect”. He now is in a perfect place where there is perfect health, perfect joy and perfect peace. In addition to Tony’s parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Tedesco, of 24 years and his son Danny Tedesco, along with four brothers; Dominic, Joseph, Frank and Rocco. Also four sisters; Rose, Ruth, Catherine and Theresa. Tony is survived by his wife Victoria (Vicki) Tedesco of 35 years, and his two daughters; Sue Konieczko (John), and Sharon Lockhart (Larry), one brother, John Tedesco, one sister, Vicky Muto, four stepchildren; Joe Pitto (Kay), Bob Pitto, Gary Pitto (Jean), and Pam Remington (Bob). Tony is also survived by five grandchildren and six step grandchildren along with two step great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Reverend Ted Leach of Kingston Mound Bible Church officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wedenesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
