Arnold Peters

Arnold “Pete” Peters, 77, of Circleville, passed away July 17, 2016 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 18, 1939 in Circleville the son of Frank and Mabel (Diltz) Peters. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Wes Edstrom Motors as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Janet & Ronald Duvall; brother-in-law, Richard Miller and ½ brother, Jack Diltz. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Ortman) Peters; children, Frank Peters, Kelly Peters and Monica (Jeremy) Bell; step children, Becky Cook and Karolyn (Tim) Green; granddaughter, Allee Bell; 12 step grandchildren, Heather Cook, Chris Green, Tim Green Cook, Jr., Matt Green Cook, Joey Green Cook, Jerry Cook, Jr. III, Alicia, Crystal, Jessica and Cration Cook, Dylan Farley and Brittany Coleman; 15 step great grandchildren; sister, Martha Miller; several nieces and nephews, including Rhonda Kellough, Duane Miller and Tonja Miller and beloved pet, Dink. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday July 20, 2016 at the Wellman Funeral Home Circleville, with military honors. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday.
