Arthur Francis Sr., 79, of Circleville passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2015. He was born on March 9, 1935 in Ross County to Chancey and Francis. He was raised by Jesse and Goldie Gaines who preceded him in death. Arthur was a member of B.P.O.E. #77, Sertoma, Moose Lodge #2440 and Red Cross. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Rosemary (Mumaw) Francis, and by 3 brothers. Arthur is survived by his children; Arthur “Bill” Francis Jr., Jim (LuAnn) Francis, Betty Herron, 8 grandchildren; Emily, Erin, Kreena, Patrick, Lasondra, Sherry, Tom and Trisha, 11 great grandchildren and by special friends; Bob, Steve and Don Gaines. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Steve Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 where an Elks Service will be held at 5:45. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
