Arthur Johnson, Sr

Arthur M. Johnson, Sr. 90, of Circleville, died November 21, 2013 at Berger Hospital. He was born February 20, 1923 in Pickaway County, the son of Harold and Myrtle (Justice) Johnson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and member of Circleville Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary (Brown) Johnson; brother, John Johnson; sisters, Sue Smith and Wilma Johnson. He is survived by his children, Linda (Marty) Metropoulos, Arthur (Sharon) Johnson, Jr., Sharon (Sid) Liming, Phil (Christina) Johnson and Patricia Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and sister, Kathryn Smith. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 23, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice.
