Barbara Hettinger

Barbara B. Hettinger, 66, of Laurelville, died on Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Lancaster to Robert and Eleanor (Kelley) Bowers. She received her Master’s in education and was employed in the Logan Elm School District teaching for 37 ½ years at Laurelville Elementary School. She worked for Weight Watchers in Chillicothe and was employed in the family business “the Apple House.” In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Jim Hettinger, children; Jason (Jeri Elder) Hettinger and Jill (Josh) Pippy, grandchildren; Lance, Mac, Elle, Gus and Bree and by one brother; Robert (Sherry) Bowers II. Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with Pastors Brian Davis and James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Laurelville on Friday from 2-8 P.M. and on Saturday 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
