B. Darrell Powell, 76, of Laurelville passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. He was born on December 7, 1938 in Hamlin West Virginia to Frank and Ruby (Alford) Powell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Elaine “Riki” (Housman) Powell, children; Michael (Lauren) Powell, Robert (Tylina) Powell, Mary (Fred) Fuer, Tracy Wellscrouse, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and by 2 sisters; Barbara Lindsey and Lallie Cooper. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
