Betty Jean Williams Lively passed into Heaven on Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born March 29, 1942 in Yellowbud, the daughter of John W. and Mary Opal (Rood) Williams. Betty graduated from Kingston Union High School in 1960. On June 29, 1962 she married Damon J. Lively, who survives. She was a member of Yellowbud United Methodist Church, where she was a teacher to many of the classes, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Leader, Financial Secretary, and Treasurer for 26 years. Betty was formerly employed by Pickaway County Workshop, Gregg’s Pizza and Wal-Mart. In addition to her husband Betty is survived by daughters, Teresa (William) Archer, children, Will and Lauren, of Circleville, Tammy and son Matt of Columbus, Tonya White and sons Trey and D.J. of Circleville, son, Tony (Mindy) and children, Evan and Paige of Upper Arlington, brother, John (Kim). Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 3 infant sisters, sister, Wanda Carroll, brothers, Charles, Reverend Gene, Donald, Russell. Betty was an avid reader and loved her family, whom she loved to cook and bake her famous pumpkin logs for. Funeral service for Betty will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home,Circleville, with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.
