Betty Parmer

Betty J. Parmer, 90, of Circleville, died March 29, 2013 at Pickaway Manor. She was born July 9, 1922 in Circleville, the daughter of Lewis and Lois (Allen) Thompson. She was a member of Pontius United Methodist Church, volunteer at Berger Hospital for many years and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State fan. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy Parmer. She is survived by her children, Connie Gilliam and Tom (Kathy) Parmer; 3 grandchildren, Scott Archer, Erin (Jason) Hughey and Bryan (Michelle) Parmer; 2 great grandchildren, Jaxon and Devin; 3 brothers, Donald Thompson, Daryl (Peg) Thompson and David Michael (Denise) Thompson; 2 sisters, Phyllis (Harold) Lee and Marsha (Michael) Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday April 2, 2013 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
