Betty Stiles

Betty Frances Stiles, 70, of Stoutsville, passed away, February 10, 2013 after a long battle with cancer of almost 5 years. She was born June 5, 1942 the daughter of Charles and Pearl Berry. Betty was an artist for 40 plus years, member of Chillicothe Art League and Circleville Art League. She taught at Franklin Park Conservatory for many years. Betty was a graduate of Northwest High School in Lucasville and Columbus College of Art & Design. Betty is survived by her husband Thomas E. Stiles, son Jeffery Stiles of Mt. Sterling, daughter Cheryl (Keith) Kelley of Chillicothe, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, mother Pearl Berry Schuyler, brother Kenny (Jane) Berry, sister Kathy (Ted) Thompson all of Lucasville and numerous brother and sister-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her father, sister Geneva “Kay” Boggs and sister-in-law Linda (Stiles) Cox. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday February 14, 2013 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Kurt King officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
