Betty Watson

Betty Eileen (Huffman) Watson, 85 of Circleville, passed away on March 6, 2013 at “Gables of Green Pastures in Marysville. She was born on July 2, 1927 in Connersville, IN, the daughter of Vernon B. and Florence E. (Price) Huffman. She was the third of seven children, and lived most of her life in Pickaway County. She attended Atlanta High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amos Seaton Watson; daughter, Joyce (Watson) Rupp; 2 brothers-in-law, Dick Barr and Paul E. Sowers. She is survived by her son, Amos S. Watson of Mingo; grandchildren, Lisa Congrove, Joe Rupp, Zachary, Matthew and Joshua Watson; sisters, Frances (Delbert) Johnson of Hamilton, Maxine Barr of Dayton, Shirley Sowers of Circleville and Jean (Ron) Terflinger of Circleville; brothers, David A. Huffman of WCH and Norman E. Huffman of Jamestown. Betty retired after 21 years of dedicated service at Circleville Bob Evans. She will be fondly remembered by all those who knew her, for her hard work and smiling face. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday March 11, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in New Holland, Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
