Beverly Lawson

Beverly Ann Lawson, 68, of Columbus died August 1, 2012 at her home. She was born February 18, 1944 in Pickaway County, the daughter of Robert and Leida (Diehl) Cromley. She graduated from Walnut Township High School May 20, 1962. She enjoyed making candles and ceramics. She loved birds and beagles. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Smith of Circleville and Jeffrey (Toni) Smith of Lancaster; brothers, Robert (Vicki) Cromley of Powell, Charles (Gladys) Cromley of Ashville; sister, Barbara Cromley of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Brittany Mae Mills, Nicholas and Joshua Davis, Ruth (John) Avellino, Matthew Horn; nephew, Andy Cromley; niece, Bethanny Cromley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leida Cromley and son, Johnny L. “Smitty” Smith. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be held at Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made in her name to Columbus Humane Society.
