Beverly J. (Gierhart) Thurston, 53, of South Bloomingville, died November 28, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 5, 1960 in Circleville the daughter of Russell and Violet (Vandagriff) Gierhart. She was a member of Saltcreek Valley Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ralph Gierhart and sister-in-law Jane Gierhart. Beverly is survived by her daughter Tammy (Jeffrey) Hart of South Bloomingville, grandsons Tyler and Jordan Hart, brother Michael Gierhart of Laurelville and sisters Rose (Randy) Thurston of Creola and Sherry (Bruce) Hartley of Stoutsville. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday December 2, 2013 at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with Pastor James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
