Billy Metcalf

Billy E. Metcalf, 94, of Circleville, died July 16, 2018 at the V.A. in Chillicothe.  He was born on February 4, 1924 the son of Alvin and Mabel (Beougher) Metcalf.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.  Billy was a member of the American Legion #134, Past Vice Commander and life member of VFW #3331.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and James.  He is survived by his wife, Matalene (Ebert) Metcalf; sons, Richard (Susan) and Mark (Cathy) Metcalf; grandsons, Christopher Metcalf and David (Summer) Parker; great granddaughters, Gracelynn, Ellie, Bailey and Elizabeth and sisters, Beverly Harmling and Phyllis (Charles) Graver. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday July 20, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
