Bruce Adams

Bruce Emerson Adams, 62, of Circleville, lovingly known to many as Super Bruce and Gunny, passed away on February 9, 2016. He was born on May 25, 1953 in Circleville. He was a retired Gunnery Sgt. with USMC, member of BPOE #77, Eagles, VFW, Moose Lodge, AMVETS and the American Legion. Bruce was preceded in death by his father and step mother; Russell and Kitty Adams, mother and step father; Patricia and Fred Schob and sister; Colleen Rittinger. Bruce is survived by daughter; Bridgette Adams, grandson; Dean Waylon Emerson Adams, sisters; Belinda Adams, Kathy (Dan) Phillips and Karena (Mark) Phillips, brother-in-law; Danny Rittinger, aunt Shirley (Ted) Raymond and girlfriend; Valerie West. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and beloved pets; Ace and Sissy. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Noon in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Noon.
