Calvin Akers

Calvin A. Akers, 79, of Laurelville, died October 14, 2012 at OSU. He was born on March 22, 1933 in West Virginia the son of Kenneth and Thelma (Painter) Akers. He was a Jehovah Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Morton) Akers; daughters, Evelyn Akers, Debora Welsh and Tena DeVault; 5 grandchildren, Brandy, Leslie, Kelsey, Braxton and Daniel; 2 great grandchildren, Abbie and Alex and 10 siblings. Memorial service will be held Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Express, 23911 U.S. Rt. 23, Circleville, OH 43113. Friends may call from 12:00 noon – 6 p.m. A special remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. to honor him for those who would like to attend.
