Carl Brown

Carl J. Brown, 67 of Burgoon Rd. South Bloomingville, died Wednesday December 9, 2009 at Mount Carmel West Medical Center, Columbus. He was born July 13, 1942 in Logan the son of Charles and Opal (Seitz) Brown. Mr. Brown was a loving and devoted husband and father and was respected and recognized foreman of the Local 200 Carpenters Union, a member of Otterbein Chapel Church and a 1961 graduate of Allensville High School. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Freeda (Tatman) Brown, son, Jimmy Joe Brown; grandson, Shawn Michael O’Neal; sisters, Viola Jones and Bernice Hill and brothers, Marvin and Melvin Brown. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Cheryl (Joyce) Brown, Cindy (Timothy) O’Neal and Suzanne (Michael) Elkins; granddaughters, Dawn O’Neal and Bethany Elkins and brother, Vernon Brown. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 12, 2009 at the Otterbein Chapel Church. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein.
