Carmela (Winnett) Eveland

Carmela Eveland, 63, of South Bloomingville passed away on August 9, 2024.  She was born on December 19, 1960 in Vinton County to James and Mary (Stevens) Winnett.  She was a member of Saltcreek Valley Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Timothy, Douglas, Matthew and Leslie Winnett.  Carmela is survived by her husband Joseph Eveland, children Craig and Dustin Eveland; grandchildren Leighanna, Kyleigh and Zoey Eveland; siblings James M. (Clarissa) Winnett, Joan (Kenneth) Bright, Holly (James) Clary, Shawn Winnett and by several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Lebanon Cemetery.  Friends may call in Laurelville from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Laurelville Fire Department or Wellman Funeral Home in Carmela’s name.
