Carol Davis

Carol Ann Davis, 73, of Circleville, died February 19, 2010 at Pickaway Manor. She was born January 23, 1937 in Columbus the daughter of the late Tommy and Mildred (Louder) McCain. She was a member of First Church of Christ in Christian Union. Carol loved her family dearly, her church where she taught Sunday School to children for years, shopping, feeding the birds and animals and walking. She was well known as the little lady who always walked. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Kenny E. Davis, son Steve (Brenda) Davis, daughter Debbie (Greg Huffer) Thompson both of Circleville; grandchildren Steven Davis, Jr., Matt (Casey) Davis and Jennifer (Adam Uhrig) Thompson, very special great granddaughter Emily, former son-in-law Randall Thompson and her extended family. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 23, 2010 at First Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Greg Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Charity of Choice.
