Carolyn Detty

Carolyn S. Detty, 59, of Circleville, died, October 10, 2010 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1951 in Ross County, the daughter of Carl and Mary Ann (Hatton) Stevens. She worked as a filing clerk for Berger Health Systems. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-brothers, Floyd, Bill and Curtis Willoughby and sister, Phoebe Pearl Stevens. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Detty; children, Angela (Frank Proehl) Elliott of Chillicothe, Philip (Stacy) Detty and Gregory (Rene`) Detty both of Circleville; step-daughter, Rebecca Ann Lehew of Chillicothe; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Eddie (Joan) Stevens of Wellston and sister, Lucy Ann Oakes of Londonderry. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday October 15, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
