Carolyn Uhl

Carolyn Sue Uhl, 73, of Circleville, died January 30, 2012 at Brown Memorial Nursing Home. She was born December 10, 1938 in Circleville, the son of Earl and Katherine (Byers) Lutz. She worked as an LPN at the Heinzerling Developmental Center for 19 years. She was a member of the Shanghai Card Club, was a diehard George Jones fan and avid elephant lover. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clement E. Uhl, Sr.; grandson, Brandon Uhl and siblings, Ralph, Mary Ann Justice and Richard. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Jay) Joslyn, Gene (Deb) Uhl and Dean (Julie) Uhl all of Circleville; 4 grandchildren, Andy (Michelle) Joslyn, Beth Ann (Matt) Kim, Derrick (Andrea) Uhl and Jordan Uhl; 3 great grandchildren, Shannon McClelland, Jalyn Joslyn and Brady Kim; sisters, Shirley (Tom) Lutz and Beverly Greeno; brothers, Jack Lutz and Greg (Deb) Lutz; sister-in-law, Lavera Lutz; special friend, June Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday February 3, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ted Leach and Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Brown Memorial Nursing Home.
