Carolyn Valentine

Carolyn M. Valentine 79, of Circleville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, September 18, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West. She was born September 29, 1929 in Circleville, the daughter of the late Harry and Odessa (Conaway) Wright. She was a member of Emmett Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Berger Hospital volunteer for 28 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert D. Valentine; daughters, Cindy (Don) Bucher, Joyce (Alan) Sedlak and Kathy (Don) Davis all of Circleville; grandchildren, Jeremy Bucher, Jill (Justin) Folk, Kristen (Jamie) King, Dara (Brad) Miller and Andy Sedlak; 3 great granddaughters, Kailen and Eliana King and Molly Miller; brother, Gene (Nancy) Wright of Circleville; brother-in-law, Don (Dona Lee) Valentine and sister-in-law, Dee Rogols both of Circleville and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday September 21, 2009 at the Emmett Chapel U.M.C. with Father Ian Yorstan and Pastor Ron Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmett Chapel Building Fund.
