Cathaline V. (Perdue) Curry of Circleville passed away on Tuesday July 17, 2018, peacefully at home with her family by her side.  Cathy was born on April 5, 1934 to the late Babe Perdue and Edith Stone Perdue Rumbaugh in Winifrede, West Virginia.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family above herself.  She was a faithful member of the North Court Street Church of Christ, where she served as a Bible class teacher, and since 1995 assisted with and helped co-ordiante the food pantry, serving a number of families in Pickaway County.  She enjoyed being able to visit and help those who came to the food pantry.  Cathy also regularly attended the Hinton WV Church of Christ when staying at their summer home.  In addition to her parents, Cathy is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Christine (Carl) Curry, brother and sister-in-law Clarence (Naomi) Perdue, and brother, Earley Perdue.  She is survived by her husband, Clarence B. Curry, whom she married on December 20, 1952; son, Craig (Lisa) of Ashville; daughter, Crystal (Doug) Hemming of Ashville; grandchildren, Jonathan Curry of Charleston, WV, Caitlin Hemming of Toulouse France, Jordan Curry of Lewisville, TX and Christopher Hemming of Ashville; brother and sister-in-law, James (Janet) Perdue; sister-in-law, Ethel Perdue and many nieces and nephews.  Memorial service will be held on Monday July 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Jack Abels officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday July 22 from 12 – 6 p.m. or one hour prior to the service on Monday.  The funeral service will be held at Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services.  Joseph Pauly of the Belle WV Church of Christ will be officiating.  The family would like to thank Berger Hospice for their care and support and also Carolyn Canter for her daily care of Cathy and her support to the family.  The family appreciates all the prayers, cards and visits during her illness.  Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice, 11770 North Court St., Suite B, Circleville, OH  43113 or North Court Street Church Food Pantry, 1555 North Court Street, Circleville, Ohio 43133.  Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
