The angels came for Chad Michael Johnson and lifted him to heaven on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was born in Berger Hospital on January 27, 1984 to his loving parents, Lisa C. and Paul D. Johnson. He was a beautiful baby, with a little apple head, the youngest of three brothers. As a boy he loved to play baseball and soccer. He graduated from Logan Elm High School and worked off and on at Captain D's. He had several jobs in his life, but his favorite was when he worked for Hope House, a place for homeless men to lay their heads. He cared deeply and worked to make the life of those less fortunate better. He had a heart to serve those in need. Chad made beautiful music learning to play the guitar on his own, spending many hours in his room perfecting the skill. Chad left a legacy in the amazing art he created. His latest hobbies were to make knives out of scrap metal and they were very impressive. He had taken up the hobby of throwing knives as well and could pick off a gnats butt with his aim. Chad was preceded in death by his daddy, Paul (Douglas) Johnson, his grandparents Carolyn and Henry Johnson, Laverne Jackson and Robert Rhodes, his Aunt Debbie Rhodes, Uncle Gary Johnson, Aunt Judy Virgin, Uncle John Williams, and several cousins, his dogs Scout, Peppy and Pretty Girl, his cats Ferbie and others, who greeted him with open arms as he entered the gates of heaven. He is survived by his mama, Lisa Johnson, his brothers Andy Johnson and Brian Johnson and two nephews, Andrew Johnson and Cody Johnson, Aunts Marilyn Rhodes (Michael Grumelli), Elaine Rhodes (Michael Besspiata), Sharon Blinebury, Sheila (Butch) Hart, Brenda (Buck) Speakman, Robin Williams and Cindy Johnson, Uncles Jimmy Rhodes, Michael (Eileen) Johnson, Steve (Tina) Johnson, and his Great Aunt Caroline Fruia and many cousins. He was a loving friend to many. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Circleville with cremation to follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3-6 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wellman Funeral Home to help with the expense of burial.
