Charles Cook Jr., 54, of Commercial Point, passed away on November 25, 2024. Born on March 19, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles and Kathy (Smith) Cook Sr., Charles was a devoted family man, a successful business owner, and a lover of life’s many joys. Charles was the proud owner and operator of Complete Office Installation. Outside of work, he was passionate about horse racing, owning several racehorses over the years, and cherished his beloved boxers, Diesel and Axel. A lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Family meant everything to Charles, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Kathy Cook. He leaves behind a loving family, including his significant other, Jeanette Thompson; his children, Chris (Kylea) Cook, Carena Cook, and his stepchildren, Lindsey Thompson, Randi (Mike Shelton) Thompson and Amanda (Jason) O’Conner; and his cherished grandchildren, Hudson, Joseph, Sophia, and Mason. Charles is also survived by his brother, Donnie (Tanya) Cook; his sister, Shawna (Charlie) Casey; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins including Dillon Cook. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville, with burial to follow at Jackson Township Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
