Charles Dunkle

Charlie Dunkle, 81, of Circleville passed away on September 4, 2016. He was born in Kingston Ohio on April 25, 1935 to Alfred and Mary (Karr) Dunkle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Harry and Paul, half-brother; Clyde, Norman, Kay, Gerald and by half-sister; Blanch Kerns. Charlie, an Army Veteran, retired from Big Bear Stores after 40 years of service and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church 50 plus years, American Legion Post 134, AmVets Post 2256 and Circleville Mens Chorus, which provided great friendship and enjoyment. Charlie is survived by his wife of 59 years; Linda (Dresbach) Dunkle, children; Carla (Mike) McCoy, Susan (Mike) Robinson and by grandchildren; Amanda McCoy and Monica and Madison Robinson. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hands for the Disabled, 210 Lancaster Pike, Circleville or Berger Health Foundation, 1280 North Court Street, Circleville.
