Charles Edwards

Charles R. Edwards, 77, of Canal Winchester, died Apr. 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1934 in Stoutsville, the son of Sterlie and Reba (Stewart) Edwards. Charles was a retired Columbus Police Officer, member of the FOP and an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jack and former wife, Mary (Eccard) Edwards. Charles is survived by his children, Karen (Jerry) Fisher of Gahanna, Cindy (Glenn) Rutter of Canal Winchester and Paul Edwards of Gahanna; grandchildren, Travis and Brent Fisher, Eric and Chris Rutter and Caitlin and Brandon Edwards; great grandchildren, Skylar and Emma Fisher; brothers, Dales Edwards of Circleville and Harold Edwards of Columbus and sister, Beverly Carroll of Circleville. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 11:00 am, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.
