Chuck Harner, 47 of Washington C.H died on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at his home.
Chuck was born on October 21, 1962 to Charles W. Harner Sr. and the late Betty L. (Strouse) Harner.
On June 11, 1988 he married his wife Angela L. (Brown) Harner of Washington C.H. They have two children a daughter Azia Lee Harner and a son Skyler Mathew Myson Harner both still living at home.
Chuck attended East Clinton High School in Sabina, Ohio and later received his diploma in 1992. Chuck loved his family and spending time with his children. He was an Assistant Baseball coach for his son Skyler’s Staunton ball team for 3 years.
Surviving Chuck is grandfather Gerald Mathews of Reeseville, a stepfather Dale Wilson and his family all of Washington C.H and mother and father-in-law David and Loretta Brown of Washington C.H.
Chuck was also survived by sisters Becky (Randy) Stroud of Greenfield, Debbie (Charlie) Floyd of Wilmington, and little sister Toni (Larry) Knox of Washington C.H.
Chuck had a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and brother and sister-in-laws who all meant a lot to him. Chuck was especially close to his aunt and uncle Ruth and Harold Smith. He thought of them as his parents. He also had a special bond with cousins, Tammy (Dan) Butler, Tonya (Brett) Curtis, Tanya (Rodney) Allen, and Edward L. Rittenhouse all of Washington C.H.
Chuck was predeceased by his mother Betty L. Harner, grandparents Ralph and Martha Strouse, grandmother Mary Mathews, and brother-in-law Billy Brown.
Funeral Services for Mr. Harner will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 1 pm in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery, Buena Vista. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm.
Donations are being accepted at the funeral home to help family with the expenses.
