Charles M. Mobley, 81, of Kingston, died August 1, 2009 at Logan Elm Health Care. He was born January 3, 1928 in Sandyhook, KY the son of Will and Bonnie (Rose) Mobley. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Opal B. (Wagner) Mobley, grandchildren Angela and Timothy Stephens, brother Dale Mobley and son-in-law William Murray. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea, retired as a pipefitter with Local #521 and was a member of Patriot Masonic Lodge #0496. He is survived by daughters Lillie Murray of Gallipolis and Dixie Williams of MS, son Ronald (Barbara) Stephens of Kingston; grandchildren Ron (Angie) Stephens, Jr., Lisa Halley, Lori (Mike) Beavers, Amy (Brian) Corbin, Dallas (Donna) Stephens, Tom (Denise) Stephens and George Brinson; great-grandchildren Alivia Stephens, Jennifer (Bobby) Angel, Kristen Halley, Nathan and Tim Stephens, Anthony, Chaisty and Michael Brinson, Tom (Nallory) Stephens, Daniel and Skylar Stephens, Bailie and Kelsey Corbin and Zac Beavers; great great-grandchildren Thomas Stephens III and Halli Angel; sisters Elaine Butler and Lucy Stevens, brother Buck Mobley and granddaughter-in-law Sally Stephens. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 5, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Elliott Co. Memorial Gardens with military honors. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Assoc.
