Charles Rutter

Charles W. Rutter, 77, of Circleville, died March 8, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1929 in Glouster, the son of Clarence and Fanny (Giffin) Rutter. He was an U.S Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mable, Ella, Christine and Margaret. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Jenkins) Rutter; daughters, Susan (Fritz) Miller of New Straitsville, Mary (Denny) Knece of Circleville, Nona (James) Christman of Stoutsville, Vonda (Steve Binkley) Clifton of Circleville, Patty (Alan) Matthews of GA, Shauna Huffman of Ashville, Tonja (John) Romine of Circleville and Tina (Bryan) Cline of Ashville; sons, Charles (Karen) Rutter of TX, William (Donna) Rutter of Galloway, Robert (Phyllis) Huffman of Chillicothe and Dan (Mary) Rutter of Laurelville; 31 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and sister, Rose Heeter of Circleville. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday March 11, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
