Charles E. Schwalbach, 89, of Circleville, died January 31, 2013 at Kindred of Chillicothe. He was born November 24, 1923 in Laurelville, the son of Charles H. and Anna E. (Cradlebaugh) Schwalbach. He was an U.S. Army veteran of WWII, retired from Thomson RCA, member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. He loved his family, gardening, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jason Schwalbach; sisters, Anna Aikens, Mary Schwalbach and brothers, William, Herman and Benjamin Schwalbach. He is survived by his wife, Betty (McFarland) Schwalbach; children, Sharon (Dan) Hoag, James Schwalbach and Debra (Daniel) Anders; grandchildren, Jeff, Bob and Aaron Hoag, Tracy Schwalbach, Jennifer Hayner, Daniel and Justin Anders; sisters, Dora Robey and Betsy Hill and brother, Carl Schwalbach. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday February 4, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
