Charles Smith

Charles Smith, 73 of Circleville passed away on June 26, 2022.  He was born on September 2, 1948 in Franklin County to Paul and Donna (Snyder) Smith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Eric “Skeeter” Smith and by brother, Dell Smith.  Chuck was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Chuck is survived by his partner of 24 years Donna Peart; son, Brian Smith; grandsons Carter and Elliott Smith; granddaughter Braylin Ocasio and brother Tom Smith.  Chuck was a member of the Roundtown Umpire’s Association and spent a lifetime officiating high school sports and summer baseball.  Chuck will be missed by everyone who loved him.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Burial of the cremains will be held at a later date.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
