Chris Urbach

Chris Urbach, 58, of Circleville Ohio passed away at home July 7, 2022 surrounded by his family. Chris was born May 26, 1964 in Sacramento California to John Dale Urbach and Sandra Chyuka Eldridge Urbach and was the third of four children. He grew up in Rupert and Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is survived by his wife Tamara Searle Urbach, sons Jon Dillon (Ellen Struiksma Urbach), Colby Scott (Lexi Powell Urbach); and daughters Brennica Lin Jolley (Michael Jolley), and Kiri Deanne Roberts (Tyler Roberts). He also leaves behind his parents, John and Sue Urbach, and siblings: Sandy Wells (Ben Wells), Lea Anne Jacobs (Paul Jacobs) and James Urbach (Judy Landers Urbach). His five granddaughters: Autumn, Aayla, Adaline, and Aspynn Jolley and Emberly Roberts were the apple of his eye and brought him great joy and comfort, especially in his last years. Chris was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many leadership positions- his favorite was working with the young men. He loved serving others and was always ready with a helping hand and a listening ear. He was a founding member of “Raise the Bar” Scout camp that ran for 15 summers and affected the lives of hundreds of young men as well as their leaders. A Celebration of Life will be held later in August. Chris will be greatly missed but he leaves behind a wonderful example and a legacy of love
