Clarence W. "Duke" Tomlinson, 82, of Circleville, died March 14, 2007 at Logan Elm Health Care. He was born September 12, 1924 in Pickaway County the son of George and Emma Linda (Jackson) Tomlinson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII; member of the First Church of Christ in Christian Union; worked for Circle Building doing cleaning around different businesses and was well known for his bread pudding. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-sons, Harry and Donald Haddox; 4 sisters and 6 brothers. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Rick) Seymour and Sandy (Frank) Hampp of Circleville; step-children, Betty (Darrel) Quincel, Carolyn (Buddy) Warner, Herb Haddox, Paul (Pat) Haddox and William (Mary) Haddox all of Circleville, Norma (John) Boltenhouse and Bobby Haddox of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Angela Amann, Tracy (Candy) Ventura and Douglas Amann; great grandchildren, Dylan Forsythe, Anna, Rita, Angelo and Canderlaria Ventura and special friend, Damian Boysel. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday March 19, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First C.C.C.U. or Heartland Hospice.
