Cledia Murphy

Cledia Bell (Dotson) Murphy, 80, of Laurelville, died July 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 26, 1930 in Summersville, WV, the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Chapman) Dotson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Murphy; son, David Ray Murphy; daughter-in-law, Juanita Hartshorn Murphy; granddaughter, Gail Anette Edwards and siblings, Tresea Lyons, Harvey, Okey, William and Cameldia Dotson, Alberta Bennett and Faitha Clark. She is survived by her children, John Murphy of S. Bloomingville, Anna (Danial) Edwards of Pataskala, Rose (Ernie) Robinson of Circleville and Doug (Joy) Murphy of S. Bloomingville; 14 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jo Harper of Laurelville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhope Hospice or Pleasant Ridge C.C.C.U.
