Clyde Steele

Clyde E. Steele, 89, of Stoutsville, died July 17, 2011 at Circleville Care and Rehab. He was born November 6, 1921 in Hocking County, the son of Gordon and Bessie (Ingram) Steele. He was a U.S. Army veteran and charter member of Praise Memorial Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Mae (Collins) Steele; daughters, Carolyn Steele of Circleville and Nancy (Jeff) Johnson of Kingston; 3 grandsons, Jason, Andrew and Daniel; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday July 22, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Dr. David Lattimer officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
