Connie Burris

Connie S. Burris, 58, of Circleville, died January 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 23, 1951 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Vernal “Corky” and Thelma (Jarrell) Thompson. She is survived by her children, Bub Burris, Teresa (Tim) Young, Bryan (Dana) Giffin and Joe (Tonya) Giffin; former husband, Richard Burris; longtime companion, Jerald Giffin; brothers, Donald and Ronnie Thompson, Kenneth and Randy Nutt; sisters, Bonnie Vallette, Sharon Cassady and Sheila Nutt; grandchildren, Matthew, Katrine and Samantha Young, Bryan Denney, Deavyn Giffin, Leslie Gilliam, Susie Adams, Hayden Edgington; great grandchildren, Lane Young, Brantley Gilliam, Natalie Seacrest, Caleb Schrake and many foster grandchildren over the years. Family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m. Sunday January 10, 2010 at Amvets Hall #1. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Connie’s name. The family would like to thank Berger Hospice for all their help.
