Cora Spaeth

Cora Ruth (Greenlee) Spaeth, 87, of Columbus, passed away on September 26, 2016. She was born on December 3, 1928 in Pickaway County to Finley E. and Nellie M. (Stonerock) Greenlee. On December 19, 1950 she married Earl Edgar “Moose” Spaeth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband on June 7, 1973, brothers; Wilbur H., Jerry and Clifford G. Greenlee and by sister-in-law; Bonita Greenlee and brother-in-law; Roger Diltz and nephew Patrick Diltz. Cora worked for many bakeries and retired from Big Bear Bakery, Columbus and worked at Beulah Park, Grove City. She was a graduate of Pickaway High School. Cora is survived by 1 brother; Wayne (Joann) Greenlee of Grove City, 2 sisters; Betty (Charles) Waidelich of Circleville and Helen Diltz of Kingston, sister-in-law; Frances R. Greenlee and by many nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbors in Columbus. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11-1.
