Crawford Worthington

Crawford L. Worthington, 69, of South Bloomfield, died March 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 30, 1941 in Kentucky the son of Clyde and Opal Worthington. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam War, retired from Columbus City Schools as a boiler operator/plumber, attended Zion United Methodist Church in Ashville and liked motorcycles, old cars and fishing. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Wade Worthington; sister, Pauline Worthington Hollingsworth; twin brothers and father and mother-in-law, Don & Virgie Wean. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Wean) Worthington; sons, Donnie (Leslie) Worthington; Leon Worthington and Philip Worthington; stepson, Eric (Charlene) Edgington; stepdaughters, Carla (Jack) Ballard and Colleen (Tom) Andrews; sister, Teresa Worthington; brothers, Clyde (Cindy) Worthington and Charles (Becky) Worthington; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. Sunday March 7, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Ashville. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Cremation to follow.
