Dale A. Davis

Dale Allen Davis, age 63, died July 14, 2018 surrounded with love by his entire family. Dale was a lifelong resident of Circleville. Dale graduated from Circleville High School in 1973 and continued his education at Ohio University. Dale served 45 years at The Savings Bank and was looking forward to retiring in a few months.  Dale was an exceptional father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid golfer, dedicated OSU fan, and a fantastic cookout host. He was involved in the Community Banker’s Association of Ohio, Leadership Pickaway, Jaycees, and Ashville Kiwanis. Dale also touched the lives of many young athletes by coaching multiple community sports teams during his lifetime. He was kind, selfless, caring, and hilarious. Dale told the best “dad jokes”, known in the family as “Dale jokes”. He was loved by so many, and the world lost one of its brightest lights when he left this world.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Faye (Allen) Davis. Dale is survived by his two children, Richard (Adriana) and Emily (Aaron), and their mother Cathy Klim Davis, brother Steve (Dee), nephews Jarrett and Ryan, and niece Leah.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 20, 2018 from 2-8pm, and funeral service will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00am at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville with burial services to follow at Forest Cemetery.
