Danny Thomas Nichols, 59, of Columbus passed away at Grant Medical Center on June 28, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1956 in Vinton County to George and Evelyn (Pratt) Nichols. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother; Oakley R. Nichols. Danny is survived by his children; Tammy Gilbert, Ashley McNichols, Jonathan Turner, Otis Israel, Brandon Shipley, 5 grandchildren, brothers; Harold Lee and Leland John Nichols sister; Susie Knight and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in McGee Cemetery, Vinton County.
