David "Dave" Bass

David “Dave” Bass, age 70, born October 13, 1946 to Melvin and Bernadette Bass, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2017. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Carole Carter and Charlene Bass and brothers, Melvin Bass II, Dana Bass and Brian Bass; and nephews, Deane Oliver and Mark R. James. Dave is survived by sisters, Beatrice (Joe) Oliver and Shelia Lewis and brothers, Darryl Bass and R. Dennis (Kathleen) Bass; 9 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Dave graduated from Circleville High School Class of 1964 where he was a three sport star for the Tigers playing football, baseball and basketball. Dave was a Senior Class Officer, National Honor Society Sergeant at-Arms, Key Club member and English Merit Society. Upon graduation, he attended Capital University for a time before joining the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18. Dave leaves many friends and loved ones.
