David Edward Dawson, 72, of Waverly, formerly of Circleville, died December 8, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1942 in Elkins, WV, the son of the late Melvin and Ellanora (Fair) Dawson. He had worked as a Quality Control Technician for RCA; formerly owned Roundtown Café for several years; as a paramedic helped start Circleville EMS; member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 52; was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Waverly and was involved in prison ministry thru Community U.M.C. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (Leeson) Dawson; son, Mark Edward Dawson of Camden, ME; brother, Leroy Dawson of Flintstone, MD and sister, Diane Denzler of Winter Haven, FL. Memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday December 12, 2014 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastors Dan Evory and Vernagaye Sullivan. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
