David Goodman

David Larry Goodman, 77, of State Route 327, Laurelville passed away March 7, 2017 in Adena Hospital, Chillicothe. He was born December 12, 1939 to the late Charles and Ada (Steele) Goodman. He was Fire Chief for Adelphi Fire Department for many years and also a paramedic. He was a carpenter by trade. Larry is survived by his wife Sue of 33 years, daughters Janelle Goodman, Chillicothe, Jennifer Thurston and son Shane Goodman, grandchildren Sumer Smith, Chillicothe, Justin Hutchinson, Amanda, Harlee Thurston, Grove City, five great grandchildren, sisters Marilyn Patterson, Adelphi, Ida Heyduck, Powder Springs, Georgia. He was a very special uncle to Pamela Patterson, Trent Patterson, Colton (US Marines) and Cayden Patterson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville burial with Military Honors to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.
