David Thompson

David R. Thompson, 63, of Laurelville passed away on September 9, 2016. He was born on December 12, 1952 in Hocking County to Norman and Violet (Poling) Thompson. His father preceded him in death. He was a retired owner/operator of T & D Thompson. David is survived by his mother; Violet Thompson, daughter; Kelly (Steve Kwasy) Thompson, brother; Terry (Karen) Thompson; niece; Kimberly Thompson, nephew; Travis (Jessica) Thompson, great nephew; Treyton Thompson, great niece; Pia Thompson and by his girlfriend; Karen McNeely. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 3:00 in the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Laurelville on Saturday from 2-6 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Laurel Hills United Methodist Church or Laurelville Fire Department.
