David Whitten

David A. Whitten, 71, of Circleville passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was born on October 2, 1943 in Yellowbud, Ross County Ohio to Howard “Cap” and Gladys (Lauerman) Whitten. He retired from RCA after 30 years of service. David was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Agnes Jane and Ann, brother; Dwight Whitten and by nephew; Paul Whitten. He is survived by his wife; Della “Pat” (Bennett) Whitten, sons; Kevin (Marcia Warth) and Neil (Angel Keeton) Whitten, sisters; Lois List, Janice Whitten, brothers; Howard (Gwen) and Bill Whitten, 3 grandchildren; Caitlynn, Makayla and Kylie, several nieces and nephews, many friends and by caregivers; Georgia Furness and Robert Harris. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The family wishes to thank Berger Hospice and staff.
