Deborah (Parsley) Pickering

Deborah Pickering, 67, of Ashville passed away on June 23, 2023.  She was born on May 26, 1956 in Columbus to William and Mary (Bowen) Parsley.  Deborah was very handy and did most of the work on her house by herself.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Pickering and by siblings Hershall and William Pickering and Linda Parsley.  Deborah is survived by her children Christopher (Kimberly) and David (Candice Holt) Pickering; grandchild Conner; brothers Robert (Judy)  and Larry (Debra) Parsley; several nieces and nephews and best friend Jo Ellen Irwin.  A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Laura Cavendish officiating.    Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
