Dencil Mccoy

Dencil E. “Buck” McCoy, 76, of Chillicothe, died July 18, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1934 in Henderson, WV, the son of Arthur and Mary Ellen (Clounch) McCoy. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of Community Lighthouse Church, Williamsport and Masonic Lodge, Cheshire, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marlene Sue McCoy; brothers, Dorsil and Jim and sisters, Brenda, Linda and Vietta. He is survived by his wife, Betty (McCreary) McCoy; sons, Henry R. “Bobby” McCoy, William G. “Billy” McCoy, Thomas M. Harmon and David A. Harmon; daughters, Gloria J. Blankenship and Connie E. Bowman; 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and brothers, David and Jack McCoy. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home Circleville. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military graveside service. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Lighthouse Church.
